This summit will unite the faith-based community on ways to address domestic violence; present survivors’ stories of triumph; highlight domestic violence ministries; talk about domestic violence issues confronting the faith-based community; and discuss how to take action. Our goal is to have 300 – 500 adult attendees join us in a day of prayer, unity, deliverance and healing.
We will have a series of prayers and workshops designed to help us focus on several themes: defining domestic violence; highlighting domestic violence resources and ministries; specific issues confronting the faith-based community; and exercise/meditation to help with domestic violence trauma. Domestic violence resources and exhibitors, providing valuable information to include counselors, will be onsite for guidance and support.
Dr. Unnia L. Pettus, Ph.D. will be the keynote speaker for this summit.
